Session Abstract: The European Network for Clinical Legal Education (ENCLE) has been established in 2013 and seeks to bring the rights persons together in order to promote, support and facilitate the creation of CLE programs in Europe. The main objectives of ENCLE are to facilitate information sharing on CLE, foster research on CLE, convene conferences, workshops and training sessions, and promoting collaboration between CLE programs and legal professionals. In addition, ENCLE tries to support all initiatives (such as e.g. trainings and standards) to ensure high quality and high level of innovation of clinical programs. This proposed session will allow ALL MEMBERS of the ENCLE and ALL CLINICIANS in Europe or from other parts in the world, who have an interest in CLE in Europe, to meet and to discuss the further development of law clinics in Europe. At the meeting, the discussion will address in particular the following points: • Presentation of the ‘status quo’ of law clinics in Europe, • Achievements of ENCLE and of law clinics in Europe, • Presentation of European studies and researches about CLE established or foreseen so far, • Discussions about future activities in order to support the developments of clinics in Europe.
