Short Bio: Dr. Aman Hingorani, Advocate and Mediator, Supreme Court of India, was called to the Bar in 1992. He has acted as an arbitrator, and has since 1998 engaged as adjunct faculty in teaching substantive law and clinical legal education courses. Dr Hingorani has taught in programmes at various institutions in India (including Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and Indian Law Institute, New Delhi) and abroad (including Keble College, Oxford University; School of Law, Warwick University; and South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies, Dhaka). He has prepared the curricula of clinical legal education courses for several institutions. Dr. Hingorani was also commissioned to make the preparatory course material on Alternative Dispute Resolution for the All India Bar Examination conducted annually by the Indian Bar Council to grant licences for advocates to practice law in India. He was appointed as National Consultant by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi for preparing its Mediation Manual. Dr. Hingorani has run Training of Teachers programmes on performance skills-based courses for law schools at ITM University, Gurgaon and Symbiosis University, Noida. Dr. Hingorani has more than twenty six publications, national and international, on diverse legal issues.
