Short Bio: Paula Galowitz is a Clinical Professor of Law Emerita at New York University School of Law, who has concentrated her teaching and scholarship on improving legal services for the indigent. Ms. Galowitz has co-taught in the Medical-Legal Advocacy Clinic, which employed a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to provide legal advocacy for clients referred by medical professionals. She also co-taught a “Community Development and Economic Justice Clinic” and a “Civil Litigation” seminar. She has previously taught “Professional Responsibility in the Public Interest.” In her scholarship, she has written a number of articles about medical-legal collaborations.
