Short Bio: Ms. Alavi is an LLM graduate from University of Warwick and has specialized in International Development Law and Human Rights. Ms. Alavi is a practicing lawyer with a focus on civil litigation pertaining to service matters, international security, international child abduction and forced marriages. She has also been involved in capacity building projects on the rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and has conducted trainings for PWDs. Ms. Alavi has also attended several conferences related to cyber security as a legal expert. She is currently engaged in establishing a Pro Bono Network with the aim of promoting the idea of social justice and help the underprivileged in Pakistan. She has published articles on the rights of marginalized groups and women. Ms. Alavi is also a visiting faculty member of International Law and International Human Rights Law at Iqra University and Roots College International, and has previously participated at the GAJE Conference in India.
