Short Bio: Dr. Panarairat Srichaiyarat is currently the deputy director of the Centre for ASEAN Studies at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Prior to joining Khon Kaen, she was a law professor at Chiang Mai University, and was the director of CMU law clinic which she initiated in 1994. She received her LL.B. from Thammasat University and was called to the Thai Bar in 1979. She received her LL.M.s from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and from the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. She also received her J.S.D. from Cornell University, U.S.A. Dr. Srichaiyarat plays prominent roles in promoting Clinical Legal Education among Thai legal academia. Her areas of interest are torts, employment discrimination, feminist jurisprudence, human rights, and justice education.
