Short Bio: Ms. Levy is the Director of Externships and Field Based Learning/Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School. Previously, she was a clinical director/professor at a number of U.S. law schools, where she also specialized in teaching skills courses and in developing curriculum. She has devoted much of her career as a lawyer and professor to access to justice issues, including serving for five years on New York's Permanent Commission on Access to Justice. She was the former Pro Bono Counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and in 2015 was named a Lawyer who Leads by Example for Public Service. She consults internationally for ABA-ROLI, USRF and PILnet on issues including development of curriculum and interactive learning and clinical law, and has worked externsively in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Russia, China, Myanmar, Mongolia and Central and East Europe.
