Short Bio: Abhayraj Naik is an independent researcher and consultant (based in Bangalore, India) with a focus on ecological justice and transformative sustainability, experiential education, privacy and surveillance, the city, and moral and political philosophy on nature and self. He works with non-profits, educational and research institutions, government, social justice campaigns and networks, public spirited individuals, and ethical corporations to review and design strategy, research and practice. Mr. Naik taught interdisciplinary law and development courses and coordinated the creation of an interdisciplinary social justice experiential education program (with clinical legal education roots) at Azim Premji University, Bangalore from 2012 to 2017. He earlier worked with Environment Support Group, Bangalore and taught at the OP Jindal Global University, Sonipat and as part of the Minnesota Studies in International Development (MSID) India program. He has participated at numerous conferences and workshops, and actively writes and lectures on environmental and urban issues, experiential education, philosophy, technology and violence. He earned his B.A. LL.B. (Honours) at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and LL.M. at Yale Law School, New Haven.
