Session Abstract: This session aims to compare the various avenues used by people in Pakistan to try and bring about social change. One of the most popular methods is through public interest litigation. While it has its critics, it has been hailed as an effective method for addressing issues of injustice. The session will look at street law in high schools, and situate it in Pakistan's context, particularly by comparing it to public interest litigation, to assess how effective it may be as a new avenue for achieving social change.
