Short Bio: I was born in 1976 in a small rural settlement called Malleri. I was the third of about twenty siblings and was fortunate to be the only one enrolled in school (Western Education). I completed my primary school and went to Teacher’s College for my Secondary Education in 1986. From my entire village,I was the first to have completed Secondary education in 1991. I was therefore compelled to come back and teach in the village School for a number of years. In 1995, I got admission to read a diploma in law which I completed in 1997. I went back to the village school and taught for another two years until 1999 when I was admitted to read Law in the University of Abuja. I completed LL.B (Hons) in 2005 and joined the Nigerian Law School for the mandatory vocational training. In 2007, I was employed to teach in my former Faculty and because of my interest in social justice, I spearheaded the establishment of the Law Clinic in the Faculty in 2008 to help indigent members have access to justice.
