Short Bio: Robert Rubinson teaches and writes extensively about ADR, legal ethics, and access to justice. He is the co-author of a leading text on family mediation. He also has been a clinical teacher for over 15 years, and in so doing has substantial experience in teaching students about the role attorneys have in representing pro se clients in both litigation and ADR. He has been involved in developing and implementing an innovative program in Baltimore that provides student mediators and student attorneys for pro se litigants in family law matters. He has also collaborated with clinical faculty in Japan regarding the development of live-client clinics.
