Short Bio: Steven Schwinn teaches Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, and Human Rights. He also co-directs the John Marshall Law School International Human Rights Clinic. In addition to his clinical work, Steve also regularly takes pro bono appointments in cases related to civil rights and public benefits. Steve writes in the areas of constitutional law and human rights, with attention to separation-of-powers issues and access to justice. He co-edits the Constitutional Law Prof Blog and writes regularly as a guest on other blogs. Steve previously taught at the University of Maryland School of Law and the George Washington University Law School. Before entering teaching full-time, Steve was an assistant general counsel at the Peace Corps.
