Short Bio : Alistair Newbern runs the Vanderbilt Law School Appellate Litigation Clinic. After earning her J.D. at the University of California at Berkeley, Professor Newbern clerked for Judge Martha Craig Daughtrey, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and for Judge Aleta A. Trauger, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Previously, Professor Newbern taught at the University of North Carolina School of Law and was a clinical teaching fellow at Georgetown University.
