Short Bio: Asnida Mohd Suhaimi was introduced to CLE during a workshop in Malaysia in 2006 and is hooked on CLE ever since! She co-supervises the street law programme at University of Malaya (“UM”), known as the Community Outreach Programme (“COP”), focusing on street law at juvenile rehabilitation schools, children home, activity centre and schools. Her latest project is the cross-border teaching clinic between UM and Universitas Pasundan, Indonesia focusing on the rights and responsibilities of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia.
She has presented a number of papers including in the IJCLE, GAJE (2011) and AALS conference, and was involved in training workshops in Jakarta, Vietnam and Myanmar. Her current focus is to establish a legal aid clinic at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya.
