Short Bio: Cheryl Milne LL.B., MSW, is Executive Director of the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, where she is also the director of the combined JD/MSW program. Previously, she was a legal advocate for children with the legal clinic Justice for Children and Youth where she represented young people in education proceedings, child welfare and family law proceedings, and youth criminal justice. She is Chair of the Canadian Coalition for the Rights of Children and teaches a constitutional advocacy clinic at the University of Toronto. She previously taught Social Work and the Law at Ryerson University.
