Short Bio: Alejandro Posadas is Senior Scholar at the Center for Legal Teaching and Education Research (CEEAD) in Mexico and is the Director of its Legal Education Program. Among his academic experience, he was Dean and Professor of Law at CIDE Law School in Mexico City, Visiting Profesor at Duke University Law School and Professor of Law at the University of the Environment in Mexico. Among his professional experience, he worked as a diplomat for Mexico at the Embassy in the USA, as an associate lawyer with the International Trade Law Firm of Thomas and Partners in Canada, and as a legal counsel at the Office of the Legal Advisor of the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs in Mexico City. Mr. Posadas has an LL.M. (95) and a doctoral degree (SJD, 03) from Duke University School of Law. He received his Law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (92). He has published in the fields of international law, the Rule of Law, and legal education.
