Short Bio: Daniel coordinates ERI’s legal program in Southeast Asia, including the Mekong Legal Advocacy Institute for junior lawyers and Mekong Legal Network programs. A key aim of ERI is to support the growth and development of public interest lawyers in the six Mekong River countries. Prior to joining ERI, Daniel worked as a legal advisor to Cambodian public interest lawyers representing urban, rural and indigenous communities in land rights cases. Daniel has also worked as a lawyer in the environment and planning jurisdiction in Australia, representing both corporate and public interest clients. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and Bachelor of Laws from Sydney University and is completing a Masters of Public and International Law at Melbourne University. Daniel was admitted to legal practice in Australia in 2004.
