Short Abstract : Moving on: Street Law as social action – the use of Streetlaw ‘Plus’. In this interactive presentation delegates will be asked to assume that they have had a Street Law presentation from students at a local law school. The topic of the presentation was ‘Problems caused by dilapidated property’. Following the presentation local residents (who were the Street Law audience in an actual case in the UK) ask how they could take what they have learnt about and turn it into postive action to improve their neighbourhood. The presentation will be based on discussions and decisions on whether to implement a strategy for that action.
