Session Abstract: Session on Designing of legal Empowerment Programs for married women in Noida had been extremely interesting in the post-lunch period of day 2. Presenters discussed laws available to married women in India and then proceeded with their presentation discussing how they have designed legal empowerment programs, why they designed, challenges met and the way forward. The session did invoke many questions regarding the way these programs were conducted and how women responded to these programs. Few participants from the audience appreciated the zeal of presenters who had been dedicatedly working for legally empowered marginalised poor married women in India.
