Short Bio: Stacy Brustin teaches in the General Practice Clinic at Catholic University [CUA] in Washington D.C. where she and her students represent clients in family law, employment, and public benefits cases. Stacy has been teaching in legal clinics at CUA for over twenty years. She integrates street law, policy and court reform projects into her clinical work so that students have an opportunity both to represent individual clients and engage in broader social change initiatives. Prior to joining the clinic at CUA, Stacy was a staff attorney and community organizer at Ayuda, a legal services center for immigrants and refugees in Washington D.C. where she founded the Hermanas Unidas community education project. Stacy is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Ayuda.
