Short Bio: Ramiro obtained his law degree from the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA, 2002) and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue the LL.M. programme at Columbia University New York (2009), where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. He studied a Master in Journalism at the University of San Andrés (2005) and worked as a journalist for several media services in Buenos Aires throughout 2006, all the while combining with a teaching position in Constitutional Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 2005-2008). He worked as a lawyer for the Inter-American Commission’s Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression (2009-2011). Just before leaving for the States, he worked at ADC’s Freedom of Expression Area (2007-2008). Upon his return, he was appointed Director to the Access to Information Area. He teaches Constitutional Law and Social Change at the University of Palermo and is the co-director of a FOI legal Clinic at the University of La Plata School of Law.
