Title of Presentation : Clinical Theory v. Theoretical Clinic
Short Abstract : Our presentation focuses on the influence of our clinical programme on our theoretical teaching. It is divided into four parts. First part is a general introduction into the Czech educational system and our clinical programme. Second part is led by teacher who began her career with teaching clinic and then she started to teach theoretical subjects. Has she learned something from clinical experience? Third part reflects an opposite experience – beginning with teaching theoretical subjects. Can teaching of theoretical subjects inspire our clinical teaching? Fourth part is led by a former student with her view on teachers and influence of their clinical experiences on their attitude towards teaching.
