Short Bio: Sanjay Agarwal is a professional accountant (1986) based in Delhi. He has visited nearly a thousand NGOs across India for conducting financial reviews and system-assessments on behalf of grant-making agencies and often advises grant-makers and NGOs. He has facilitated numerous workshops and also served on expert groups for institutions such as Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Partners in Law & Development, Institute for Human Development, and VAC of the Planning Commission. He writes regularly on accounting and legal issues affecting the voluntary sector in periodicals such as AccountAble, AuditAble and Lekha Yog.
