Title of Presentation : Human Rights Fact-Finding in the Domestic Context

Names of all Presenters : Gwynne Skinner, Raven Lidman

Short Abstract : In this presentation, we will discuss how fact-finding and reporting on domestic human rights abuses can be used to hold one’s government accountable for human rights violations. We will discuss factors to consider in planning and executing human rights reports, as well as how to use such reports in domestic advocacy. We will discuss methodology in some detail. If time allows, we will plan a faux fact-finding.
